PORT EDWARDS – Ten different players scored for Pittsville as the Panthers rolled to a 59-15 win over Port Edwards in a Central Wisconsin Conference South Division girls basketball game Monday night at John Edwards High School.


The Panthers raced out to a 39-9 lead by halftime and held Port Edwards to just one made basket and six points in the second half to cruise to the victory.


Haylee Zawislan had 11 points and Brynn Friday added 10 for Pittsville (11-8, 6-3 CWC South).


Taylor Martin led Port Edwards (3-16, 0-10 CWC South) with eight points.


Both teams return to action Tuesday. Pittsville travels to Stevens Point Pacelli for a CWC South game and Port Edwards will host Nekoosa for a nonconference contest.
