NEW LISBON – New Lisbon busted open a tight game with an 11-point advantage in the second half and defeated Port Edwards 54-37 in a nonconference girls basketball game Saturday at New Lisbon High School.
New Lisbon led 24-18 at halftime before pulling away, outscoring the Blackhawks 30-19 in the second half.
Taylor Martin had 17 points for Port Edwards, which drops to 3-15 this season.
Libby Rogers had 21 points for New Lisbon (7-13).
Port Edwards hosts Pittsville in a Central Wisconsin Conference South Division game Monday at 6 p.m.
