MOSINEE BASEBALL DOWNS TOMAHAWK FOR 10TH-STRAIGHT WIN

TOMAHAWK – The Mosinee baseball team extended its winning streak to 10 with an 8-1 win over Tomahawk on Friday at Kahle Memorial Park.


Davin Stoffel, Seann Bryant and Eli Miland combined on a one-hitter for the Indians, who are now 18-2 overall and 9-1 in the Great Northern Conference.


Stoffel struck out four in four innings to earn the win for Mosinee.


The Indians scored two times in the first, second, third and sixth innings in the win.


Stoffel had three RBI, and Taylor Lemanski, Keagen Jirschele and Drake Grod each scored twice for Mosinee.


Mosinee will play a GNC game at Rhinelander on Monday.
