GREENWOOD BASEBALL ROUTS OWEN-WITHEE IN WIAA DIVISION 4 REGIONAL SEMIFINAL

GREENWOOD – Greenwood scored multiple runs in the three innings, including four in the bottom of the fifth to end the game via the 10-run rule as it rolled to a 12-2 win over Owen-Withee on Tuesday in a WIAA Division 4 regional semifinal.

Sully Whitford had a double and three RBIs, and Fletcher Bredlau and Mason Learman each had two hits and scored twice for the Indians (14-6).

Cooper Bredlau scored three times and drove in three, and Xander Hinker had three runs scored in the leadoff spot for Greenwood, the No. 1 seed in its D-4 regional.

Greenwood will host the winner of Pittsville and Marshfield Columbus Catholic in a regional final on Wednesday.
