ABBOTSFORD – The Colby boys basketball team erupted for 61 first-half points and blew past Abbotsfod 91-52 in a nonconference game Monday at Abbotsford High School.

Richard Streveler had 24 points, Tucker Meyer added 16, Brandon Voelker scored 13 and Tevin Rue chipped in 12 for Colby, which improves to 8-2 this season.

Abbotsford (3-9) hosts Phillips for a Marawood Conference North Division game on Tuesday.

Colby has a week off before hosts Marshfield Columbus Catholic for a battle of Cloverbelt Conference East Division leaders on Tuesday, Jan. 18. The game will be live-streamed at zaleskisports.com.
