BREMMER SMASHES TWO HOME RUNS AS GREENWOOD/LOYAL GREENHOUNDS SOFTBALL BLASTS OWEN-WITHEE

OWEN – Greenwood/Loyal scored 13 times in the first inning and made quick work of Owen-Withee, plowing to a 25-0 win in three innings in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division softball game Thursday.
Greenwood/Loyal also scored 10 times in the third inning as it improves to 5-4 overall and remains undefeated at 4-0 in the Cloverbelt East. Owen-Withee falls to 0-5 overall and 0-4 in conference play.
Greenwood/Loyal is off until Monday when it plays at Gilman, which is also 4-0 in the conference.
Kayla Bremmer had a triple and two home runs, drove in eight and scored three times for lead the way for the Indians’ offense. G/L also took advantage of 12 Owen-Withee errors.
Anna Lindner went 4-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBIs, and Aspen Hagen and Zaida Brock also each drove in three for Greenwood/Loyal.
