ALMOND-BANCROFT SLIPS PAST ROSHOLT IN CWC SOUTH GIRLS BASKETBALL ACTION

ALMOND – The Rosholt girls basketball team couldn’t hold on to a halftime lead and dropped a Central Wisconsin Conference South Division game 32-31 to Almond-Bancroft on Tuesday at Almond-Bancroft High School.
The Hornets led 16-10 at halftime but were outscored by seven in the second half, suffering the one-point loss.
Rosholt is now 0-6 overall and 0-3 in CWC South play. Almond-Bancroft improves to 6-3 overall and 2-1 in conference play.
Lily Lorbiecki had eight points, and Sarah Trzinski had seven points and seven rebounds for Rosholt.
Both teams will host CWC South games on Friday with Almond-Bancroft taking on Tri-County and Rosholt playing Wild Rose.
