WISCONSIN RAPIDS VOLLEYBALL WINS AT WAUSAU EAST

WAUSAU – The Wisconsin Rapids volleyball team evened its Wisconsin Valley Conference record with a 3-0 sweep of Wausau East on Thursday at East High School.

The Raiders won 25-18, 25-21, 25-15, to improve to 3-3 in WVC action this season. East is now 0-5.

Aliyah Jennings had 13 kills, Grace Jahns and Natalie Yanke each had eight kills, and Hayley Wagner had 15 digs to lead Wisconsin Rapids.

Wisconsin Rapids will compete at the Monona Grove Invitational on Saturday.
