WISCONSIN RAPIDS LEGION WINS FIFTH STRAIGHT WITH VICTORY AT D.C. EVEREST

WESTON – The Wisconsin Rapids Legion baseball team ran its winning streak to five with a 5-3 victory over D.C. Everest on Thursday night at Simon Field.
Ryan Sering and Austin Junemann each had three hits, with Junemann driving in two runs for the Rangers, who are now 8-2 overall and 4-1 in the Wisconsin Valley Legion League.
Carson Gunderson and Marcos Simonsen each added two hits for Wisconsin Rapids.
Jordan Tibbets picked up the win for the Rangers, striking out five in six innings.
Wisconsin Rapids returns to action Tuesday at home against Antigo. The game will be broadcast live at zaleskisports.com.
