WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Wausau West won three singles matches and a doubles match by forfeit to defeat Wisconsin Rapids 4-3 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference boys tennis match Monday at Lincoln High School.
Wisconsin Rapids picked up wins at No. 4 singles from Ryan Pidgeon, and the No. 1 doubles team of Joey Bohman and Eric Huglen, and the No. 2 team of James Baldwin and Carter Swen, all in straight sets.
Wisconsin Rapids returns to action Thursday at Stevens Point.
