VIP: WIAA GIRLS BASKETBALL PLAYOFFS BREAKDOWN

The WIAA girls basketball playoffs tip off Tuesday as every team eyes a common goal – hoisting a gold ball at the Resch Center in Green Bay 18 days from now.
Play begins with regional quarterfinals in five divisions on Tuesday. Regional semifinals will be played Friday and regional finals Saturday, with sectionals set for March 3 and March 5. The 20 sectional champions qualify for the 2022 WIAA State Girls Basketball Tournament, which will be March 10-12 in Green Bay.
Here’s a breakdown on what’s in store for regional play this week:
