STRATFORD VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS WESTFIELD IN WIAA DIVISION 3 REGIONAL SEMIFINAL

WESTFIELD – The fifth-seeded Stratford volleyball team pulled off a mild upset of No. 4 seed Westfield, sweeping the Pioneers 3-0 in a WIAA Division 3 regional semifinal on Thursday night at Westfield High School.
The Tigers won 25-21, 25-13, 25-11, to move on to a D-3 regional final at No. 1 seed and Marawood Conference South Division rival Marathon on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Megan Wiese had nine kills, Hailey Chapel added six kills and 13 assists, Ally Zuleger had 18 assists and six digs, and Tessa Berg chipped in six kills for Stratford.
