TIGERTON – Eleven different Port Edwards players scored as the Blackhawks destroyed Tigerton 80-19 in a nonconference boys basketball game Saturday at Tigerton High School.


Port Edwards led 51-6 by halftime as it cruised to its third-straight win and is now 4-4 this season.


Nathan Gibbs had 18 points and Brynden Beck added 14 for Port Edwards.


Port Edwards will enjoy an extended break before returning to action with a nonconference home game against Wisconsin Rapids Assumption on Jan. 3.
