PITTSVILLE WRESTLING SPLITS PAIR OF MATCHES AT AMHERST TRIANGULAR

AMHERST – The Pittsville wrestling team split a pair of matches in a triangular meet at Amherst High School on Thursday.


The Panthers defeated Abbotsford/Colby 36-27 in a nonconference dual, and lost a tight Central Wisconsin Conference match to Amherst 36-32. The score of the Abby/Colby vs. Amherst match was not reported.


Winning for Pittsville in the victory over A/C were Archer Kissner by pin at 182 pounds, and Racyn Schooley (120), Dryden Luther (126), Kadin Fox (132), Easton Dammann (138) and Landen Losieski (145) by forfeit.


Schooley earned a win by technical fall, Losieski and Hunter McDaniel (152) had pins, and Kissner won by decision at 170 in the loss to Amherst. Fox and Luther also earned forfeit victories for Pittsville.


Abbotsford/Colby and Amherst match winners and results were not reported.
