RIB LAKE – Eric Neve had three hits, including a double, and drove in three runs to lead the Pittsville River Bandits amateur baseball team to a 7-1 win over the Interwald Woodticks on Sunday.

Sawyer Ladick earned the win on the mound, allowing one run and six hits over six innings. He struck out five and walked five.

Joey Becker picked up a three-inning save, giving up no runs and three hits.

Ryan Schwanebeck and Nathan Dupee each hit home runs, and Justin Rayburn had two hits and three runs scored in the win for Pittsville.

The River Bandits host Medford for their home opener May 30 at 1:30 p.m.
