NEILLSVILLE/GREENWOOD/LOYAL WRESTLING HAS EIGHT WITH TOP-SIX FINISHES AT SLINGER INVITE

SLINGER – The Neillsville/Greenwood/Loyal wrestling team earned a title and eight top-six finishes while taking seventh in the team standings at the 16-team Gunslinger Invitational on Saturday at Slinger High School.
Gunner Hoffmann won the 220-pound title for NGL, pinning Jeremiah Chmielsewski of Oshkosh North in 1:56.
Luke Dix finished second at 126, losing in the title match to Shane Corrigan of De Pere, 9-0.
Derek Zschenitz (120) and Jayme Zvolena (152) placed third; Ethan Buchanan (113), Keeghan Anding (145) and Dan Polzin (195) took fifth; and Dane Luchterhand (170) finished sixth for Neillsville/Greenwood/Loyal.
