Mosinee senior Claire Selenske was named Player of the Year and Justin Jacobs was selected as Coach of the Year on the 2021 All-Great Northern Conference Volleyball Team.
Selenske was one of three Mosinee players to earn first-team accolades after the Indians finished 11-0 and won the GNC championship. Selenske had 64 kills, 18 service aces and 88 digs this season for Mosinee.
Seniors Abbi Martin and Jenna Placek were also first-team picks for Mosinee, along with Tomahawk junior Megan Scholz, Lakeland sophomore Meg Pfannerstill, Medford senior Rynn Ruesch and Antigo senior libero Kayleigh Parilek.
Scholz led the conference in kills (156), attack percentage (.466) and kills per set (3.6), while Martin was second in kills per set (3.2) and attack percentage (.286).
Mosinee also had a second-team selection in junior Alexis Jonas after she led the conference in assists per set with 9.1.
