MOSINEE GIRLS BASKETBALL WRAPS UP GREAT NORTHERN CONFERENCE TITLE WITH ROUT OF NORTHLAND PINES

EAGLE RIVER – The Mosinee girls basketball wrap clinched its second-straight Great Northern Conference championship with a 76-26 rout of Northland Pines on Tuesday night at Northland Pines High School.


Eleven different Mosinee players scored in the victory as the Indians remain undefeated this season at 21-0 and move to 11-0 in the GNC.


Adalyn Lehman had 21 points and Jenna Placek chipped in 13 for Mosinee.


Northland Pines (7-15, 3-7 Great Northern Conference) was held to just nine made field goals by the Indians.


Mosinee hosts Wisconsin Rapids for a nonconference game on Thursday. The game will be broadcast live at zaleskisports.com.
