MOSINEE – Davin Stoffel had two hits and three RBI to lead the Mosinee baseball team to a 5-2 win over Merrill in a nonconference game Monday at Mosinee High School.


The Indians scored three times in the second inning and added two more in the third, then held on the rest of the way to improve to 11-2 this season.


Keagen Jirschele allowed one run in four innings to earn the win, and Seann Bryant picked up the save, allowing a run in three innings of relief for Mosinee.


Garrett Shupe added a pair of RBI for Mosinee.


Mosinee hosts Shawano for another nonconference game Tuesday at 5 p.m.
