EDGAR – The Edgar boys basketball team edged Cameron 66-65 in a nonconference game Saturday afternoon at Edgar High School.


Both teams are now 2-1 this season.


Ayden Weisenberger had 16 points, Ashton Schuett scored 11 and Teegan Streit added 10 for Edgar, which was hot from 3-point range, making 12 of 27.


Grant Paetzold had a game-high 23 points for Cameron.


Edgar will play a Marawood Conference crossover game at Prentice on Friday.
