RIB LAKE – The Columbus Catholic boys basketball team saved up enough energy after a hard-fought double overtime win on Monday as it pummeled Rib Lake 73-38 in a nonconference game Tuesday night at Rib Lake High School.
The Dons, who came back from a double-digit deficit to defeat Neillsville on Monday night, were no match for Rib Lake as four players scored in double figures.
Emmitt Konieczny led the way with 15 points for Columbus Catholic (16-3). Lucas Kreklau added 13 points, Blake Jakobi scored 12 and Sam Wilczek chipped in 11 in the win.
Columbus Catholic plays a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game at winless Gilman on Thursday.
