BOGDONOVICH GOES BONKERS FOR 43, LEADS LOYAL TO WIN OVER BLAIR-TAYLOR

SPORTSDESK - Loyal's Kole Bogdonovich scored 30 of his game high and career high 43 points in the second half to help the Greyhounds overcome Blair-Taylor, 79-73. Loyal trailed by 13 at halftime before the big outburst in the second half, including a 6-0 run to finish the game and secure the win.


Bogdonovich was a perfect 20 of 20 from the free throw line including 11 critical free throws made in the second half. Bogdonovich was also 10 of 19 from the floor, including a trio of three-pointers, while playing all 38 minutes of the game. Loyal's Damain Baird had 15 points and Trevyn Wilke chipped in 13 and both joined Bogdonovich in playing the entire game. The Greyhounds shot 30 of 36 from the free throw line while Blair-Taylor made seven of 10, clearly making the difference in the game.


Blair-Taylor was led by Alek Reismann with 18 points, Kyle Steien had 15 points and Logan Smith had 13.


Loyal now has an overall record of 8-6 and has won five consecutive, after starting the season at 3-6. Up next for the Greyhounds is a road game at Greenwood on Thursday, January 30th with highlights on Facebook at Zaleski Sports Neillsville.
