ATHENS – The Athens volleyball team swept all three of its matches to win the title at its home Athens Quadrangular on Saturday.


Athens defeated Crandon 25-9, 25-14; Stevens Point Pacelli 25-19, 25-20; and Nekoosa 27-25, 25-19.


Jazelle Hartwig had 24 kills, 29 assists and 21 digs, Savannah Epping had 38 digs, and Addison Lavicka had 15 kills and 36 assists to lead Athens.


Sophia Coker added 21 kills and five digs, and Sydney Coker had 10 kills as well for the Bluejays.


Pacelli's other matches, or statistics, were not reported.


Athens will complete its regular-season schedule at the Marawood Conference Crossover Challenge at Marathon on Tuesday.
