ABBOTSFORD – Ainara Sainz de Rozas scored 15 points to lead the Assumption girls basketball team to a 60-28 win over Abbotsford in a Marawood Conference crossover game Thursday at Abbotsford High School.
The win clinches at least a share of the Marawood South title for Assumption.
Kayla Kerkman and Maleia Kolo each chipped in nine for the Royals, who won for the 10th time in a row and are now 19-3 overall and 13-2 in the Marawood South.
Assumption hosts Manawa for a nonconference game Monday. The game will be broadcast live at zaleskisports.com.
Statistics for Abbotsford were not provided. The Falcons (12-10, 6-9 Marawood North) finish their regular-season schedule Feb. 17 at Phillips.
The WIAA postseason pairings will be announced on Sunday.
