WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Sarah Shaw scored 12 points to lead a balanced scoring attack and help lift the Wisconsin Rapids Assumption girls basketball team to a 54-42 win over Rib Lake in a Marawood Conference crossover game Friday at Assumption High School.


Eight different Royals scored in the victory as they improve to 9-2 overall and 5-2 in the Marawood South.


Kendall Duellman added nine points and Maleia Kolo scored eight for Assumption.


Lauren Pelnis led Rib Lake (3-7, 2-4 Marawood North) with 11 points.


Assumption will play another Marawood crossover game Saturday at Chequamegon.
