MOSINEE – Ashwaubenon scored four goals in the second period to pull away and defeat Mosinee 7-2 in a nonconference boys hockey match Saturday at the Mosinee Rec Center.
Mosinee’s Daniel Gildain scored with 1:38 remaining in the first period to tie game, only to see Ashwaubenon rip off five-straight goals to take command.
Carter Daul ended the string for Mosinee midway through the third period, but the Jaguars added another later in the period to secure the victory.
Mosinee (2-2) will play a nonconference game at Wausau West on Thursday.
