WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Wisconsin Rapids boys tennis team split a pair of matches at its home quadrangular meet on Saturday at Lincoln High School.

Wisconsin Rapids defeated Stevens Point Pacelli 5-1 and lost to D.C. Everest 4-3.

Ryan Pidgeon won a pair of singles matches, Michael Tra earned a win at No. 2 singles against Pacelli and teamed with Eric Huglen to win at No. 1 doubles against D.C. Everest.

Huglen and Joey Bohman won at No. 1 doubles against Pacelli, and the No. 2 doubles team of Carter Swen and James Baldwin won a pair of matches at No. 2 doubles for the Raiders.

Wisconsin Rapids returns to Wisconsin Valley Conference action Thursday at Wausau East.
