WILD ROSE GIRLS BASKETBALL WINS CWC SOUTH OPENER OVER ALMOND-BANCROFT

WILD ROSE – Laney Havlovitz scored 21 points to lead the Wild Rose girls basketball team to a 61-40 win over Almond-Bancroft in the Central Wisconsin Conference South Division opener for both teams on Friday night at Wild Rose High School.
Cali Havlovitz added 12 points and Mya Bahr had 10 for the Wildcats, who are now 3-1 overall this season.
Lexie Dernbach had 11 points for Almond-Bancroft (2-2 overall).
Wild Rose hosts Tigerton for a nonconference game on Tuesday.
