WILD ROSE GIRLS BASKETBALL DOWNS PACELLI IN BATTLE OF CWC SOUTH UNBEATENS

WILD ROSE – Laney Havlovitz scored 28 points, 18 in the second half, as the Wild Rose girls basketball team defeated Stevens Point Pacelli 63-46 in a battle of Central Wisconsin Conference South Division leaders on Monday night at Wild Rose High School.
Wild Rose pulled out to a 35-23 by halftime and was able to maintain its double-digit lead to win its 12th game in a row, improving to 14-1 overall and 8-0 in the CWC South.
Cali Havlovitz added 14 points and Orria Wood scored 10 for Wild Rose.
Amelia Jacoby had 15 points and Casey Vaughan chipped in 10 for Pacelli, which drops to 10-7 and 7-1 in the CWC South.
Wild Rose plays a nonconference game at Princeton/Green Lake on Tuesday. Pacelli is off until Saturday when its hosts Rosholt for a CWC South game at 1 p.m.
