WILD ROSE BOYS BASKETBALL HOLDS OFF ROSHOLT

ROSHOLT – The Wild Rose boys basketball team jumped out to a double-digit lead by halftime and outlasted Rosholt 43-31 in a Central Wisconsin Conference South Division game Tuesday at Rosholt High School.
Wild Rose led 14-4 after a low-scoring first half and was able to hold on from there to improve to 5-9 overall and 3-5 in the CWC South.
Eli Trzinski had 11 points to lead Rosholt (6-8, 2-5 CWC South).
Both teams return to CWC South action Friday with Wild Rose hosting Tri-County and Rosholt traveling to Port Edwards.
