STEVENS POINT GIRLS TENNIS WINS AT WAUSAU EAST, IMPROVES TO 4-0 IN WVC

WAUSAU – The Stevens Point girls tennis team won six matches in straight sets to defeat Wausau East 6-1 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference dual meet Thursday at Wausau East High School.
Stevens Point’s Jessica Kleman swept Abbey Olson 6-0, 6-0, at No. 1 singles to set the tone for the Panthers, who are now 4-0 in WVC action this fall.
Also winning singles matches for SPASH were Annika Borgnes at No. 2 and Addison Jandrain at No. 4.
Stevens Point swept the three doubles matches in straight sets as well.
Stevens Point hosts La Crosse Central for a nonconference match Monday and Wausau West for a WVC matchup Tuesday. Both matches start at 4 p.m.
