STEVENS POINT – The Stevens Point girls basketball team doubled up Wausau East in the first half and rolled to an 83-44 victory in a Wisconsin Valley Conference game Tuesday night at Stevens Point Area Senior High.


SPASH led 36-18 by halftime and put up 47 second-half points to cruise to the win.


Emma Jossie had 24 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, Zoe Fink chipped in 15 points, and Avery Lilly added 14 for the Panthers (9-12, 6-4 Wisconsin Valley Conference).


Wausau East falls to 3-16 and 0-10 in the conference.


SPASH plays at first-place Wausau West on Friday.
