PORT EDWARDS BOYS BASKETBALL STYMIES ROSHOLT

ROSHOLT – Port Edwards held Rosholt to 18 percent shooting to win a Central Wisconsin Conference South Division boys basketball game 40-22 on Friday at Rosholt High School.
The Hornets were just 8-for-45 in the loss, falling to 4-4 overall and 1-2 in the CWC South this season.
Port Edwards improves to 7-4 and pulls into a tie for first place with Stevens Point Pacelli at 3-0 in the conference.
Eli Trzinski led Rosholt with seven points.
Rosholt is off until Thursday when it plays a CWC South game at Tri-County. Port Edwards hosts Nekoosa in a nonconference game Tuesday.
