PACELLI SOFTBALL WHIPS ALMOND-BANCROFT TO BREAK TIE FOR FIRST IN CWC SOUTH

ALMOND – Hannah Trzinski struck out six in a complete-game victory and had two RBIs to help lead the Pacelli softball team to a 9-2 win over Almond-Bancroft in a battle of undefeated Central Wisconsin Conference South Division softball teams Monday at Almond-Bancroft High School.
The Cardinals (11-2, 6-0 CWC South) scored in six of their seven at-bats, pounding out 12 hits.
Sami Miller and Emma Van Order each hit home runs, and Briar Armatowski, Miller and Emily Grezenski each had two hits for Pacelli.
Trzinski scattered five hits, allowing single runs in the first and fourth innings to pick up the pitching victory.
Pacelli hosts Rosholt on Thursday at Spud Field at Woyak Park.
