PACELLI GIRLS BASKETBALL ROLLS TO HOME WIN OVER PITTSVILLE

STEVENS POINT – Amelia Jacoby scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Stevens Point Pacelli girls basketball team to a 55-32 win over Pittsville in Central Wisconsin Conference South Division action Tuesday at Pacelli High School.


Casey Vaughan and Hannah Trzinski each added nine points for the Cardinals, who are now 12-8 overall and 9-1 in the CWC South and remain one game behind first-place Wild Rose in the standings. The two teams play in the final regular season game at Pacelli on Feb. 17.


Haylee Zawislan scored 11 points for Pittsville (11-9, 6-4 CWC South).


Both teams hit the road for Central Wisconsin Conference South games on Friday. Pacelli will be at Almond-Bancroft and Pittsville travels to first-place Wild Rose.
