NEILLSVILLE BOYS BASKETBALL ROUTS OSSEO-FAIRCHILD IN D-4 REGIONAL QUARTERFINAL

NEILLSVILLE – Andrew Brown and Mason Roenz had double-doubles to lead the Neillsville boys basketball team to a resounding 77-44 win over Osseo-Fairchild in a WIAA Division 4 regional quarterfinal on Tuesday at Neillsville High School.
No. 6 seed Neillsville (18-7) moves on to a Division 4 regional semifinal at No. 3 seed Fall Creek (20-4) on Friday. The game will be broadcast live at zaleskisports.com starting at 7 p.m.
Brown had 27 points and 12 rebounds, and Roenz had 17 points and 14 rebounds for the Warriors, who bolted out to a 41-18 lead by halftime to gain control early.
Brown surpassed the 1,000-point mark for his career in the victory.
Jake Steinke had 18 points and nine rebounds for Osseo-Fairchild (5-18).
