AUBUNRDALE – The Neillsville boys basketball team used a dominant second half to bust open a tight game and defeat Weyauwega-Fremont 64-42 in a game at the Auburndale Holiday Boys Basketball Tournament on Monday night at Auburndale High School.
Neillsville led 30-25 at halftime before taking control with a 34-17 advantage in the second half, bumping its record to 7-1 this season.
Andrew Brown scored 27 points and Mason Roenz added 14 for the Warriors.
Neillsville will play Auburndale in the three-team round-robin tournament on Wednesday at 6 p.m. Weyauwega-Fremont plays Auburndale at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
