NEILLSVILLE BOYS BASKETBALL BLOWS PAST INDEPENDENCE

INDEPENDENCE – Andrew Brown scored 28 points to lead the Neillsville boys basketball team to a dominating 65-33 victory over Independence in a nonconference game Monday night at Independence High School.


The Warriors led by six at halftime before blowing the game open with a 44-18 second-half advantage.


Mason Roenz added 11 points and 14 rebounds for Neillsville, which improves to 9-2.


Neillsville will play a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game at Marshfield Columbus Catholic on Thursday at 7:15 p.m. Both teams are undefeated in the conference. The game will be live-streamed at zaleskisports.com.
