NEILLSVILLE BASEBALL BLASTS NECEDAH IN DIVISION 3 REGIONAL QUARTERFINAL

NEILLSVILLE – Bryce Erickson had three doubles, four RBIs and scored four times as the Neillsville baseball team whipped Necedah 13-3 in a WIAA Division 3 regional quarterfinal on Thursday at Neillsville High School.


The third-seeded Warriors (13-2) move on to a regional semifinal at No. 2 seed Marathon (15-7) on Tuesday.


The Warriors scored three times in each of the first two innings, then put the game away with a six-run third.


Jonah Zoschke had two hits and drove in four, and Drew Brown had a pair of RBIs in the win for Neillsville.


Carson Opelt picked up the win, allowing two runs in four innings with six strikeouts.
