MOSINEE VOLLEYBALL WINS NONCONFERENCE MATCH OVER WAUSAU EAST

MOSINEE – The Mosinee volleyball team swept Wausau East in a nonconference match Thursday at Mosinee High School.
The Indians won 25-17, 25-12, 25-19, to improve to 25-3 this season.
Abbi Martin had 10 kills and five blocks, Jenna Placek had nine kills, Jessica Maurer added seven kills, Alexis Jonas had 33 assists and eight digs, and Hailey Shnowske and Claire Selenske each had nine digs for Mosinee.
Mosinee will host the second Great Northern Conference meet of the season on Saturday. Wausau East will be at the Wisconsin Valley Conference meet at Merrill on Saturday.
