MOSINEE BOYS BASKETBALL PUMMELS ALTOONA FOR 16TH-STRAIGHT WIN

MOSINEE – The Mosinee boys basketball team won for the 16th time in a row as it blasted Altoona 90-48 in a nonconference game Tuesday night at Mosinee High School.

Mosinee made quick work of the Railroaders, pouring on 51 points in the first half to take a 22-point lead into halftime.


Davin Stoffel scored 20 points and Drake Grod added 19 for the Indians, who had five players score in double figures in all and improve to 21-1 this season.


Keagen Jirschle and Trevor Garski both scored 13 points, and Trenton Dorn chipped in 10 in the win for Mosinee.


Mosinee plays a Great Northern Conference game at Medford on Friday.
