MOSINEE BOYS BASKETBALL PULLS PAST LAKELAND IN REGULAR-SEASON FINALE

MOSINEE – The Mosinee boys basketball team finished off its regular season with a 61-56 win over Lakeland in Great Northern Conference contest Thursday at Mosinee High School.
The game was tied 30-30 at halftime before Mosinee was able to pull away and finish off the win.
Davin Stoffel had 16 points and Trenton Dorn added 11 for the Indians, who improve to 22-2 and finish off their GNC championship season at 11-1.
Will Fortier led Lakeland (10-14, 5-7 GNC) with 21 points.
Mosinee will play the winner of Merrill and Ashland in a WIAA Division 2 regional semifinal at home on Friday, March 4. The game will be broadcast live at zaleskisports.com.
