IOLA – Parker Prahl led three Iola-Scandinavia players in double figures with 15 points as the Thunderbirds defeated Markesan 49-34 in a WIAA Division 4 boys basketball regional semifinal Friday night at Iola-Scandinavia High School.

The No. 1 seed Iola-Scandinavia (25-0) will host a Division 4 regional final against No. 5 seed Colby (17-7) on Saturday at 7 p.m. The game will be live-streamed at zaleskisports.com.

Brock Wester added 14 points and Isaiah Hoyord chipped in 13 for I-S, which made 23 of 40 free throws in the game as Markesan committed 26 fouls.

Austin Grams led Markesan (13-12) with 10 points.
