LOYAL – Greenwood/Loyal scored six runs in the first inning and added nine in the second as it rolled to a 17-2 nonconference softball win over Eau Claire Regis on Monday at Loyal High School.

The Greenhounds have won 10 of their last 12 games, improving to 10-5. Regis is now 1-11.

Regis walked 11 batters and committed five errors.

Anna Lindner had a single and a double, and drove in three runs to pace the Greenwood/Loyal offense.

Greenwood/Loyal hosts Independence/Gilmanton in another nonconference game on Tuesday at Loyal High School.
