GREENWOOD – Greenwood scored six times in the third inning and added five more in the fourth to bust open a tight game and rout Owen-Withee 12-1 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division baseball game Thursday at Greenwood Elementary School.


Westen Schmitz and Sully Whitford combined on a no-hitter for Greenwood, with Schmitz allowing an unearned run in the third inning.


Cooper Bredlau and Xander Hinker each had three RBIs, and Jonah Hinker and Schmitz both drove in two for the Indians, who are now 12-6 overall and 8-2 in the Cloverbelt East.


Greenwood finishes its conference schedule Monday at Loyal.
