EDGAR BOYS BASKETBALL DOMINATES WISCONSIN VALLEY LUTHERAN IN D-5 REGIONAL QUARTERFINAL

EDGAR – The Edgar boys basketball team forced 35 turnovers and held Wisconsin Valley Lutheran to just five made baskets as it rolled to a 56-14 win in a WIAA Division 5 regional quarterfinal Tuesday at Edgar High School.


The No. 3 seed Edgar (13-11) will host No. 6 Northland Lutheran (14-8) in a Division 5 regional semifinal Friday at 7 p.m. Northland Lutheran defeated Rosholt 61-45 on Tuesday.


Brett Baumgartner had 18 points and eight rebounds, and Everet Brehm had 17 points for Edgar.
