DEFOREST – DeForest outscored Stevens Point by 12 points in the second half to pull out a 75-65 nonconference win in boys basketball action Tuesday night at DeForest High School.
Stevens Point led 37-35 at halftime but couldn’t hold on, falling to 7-6 this season.
Nate Streveler had 28 points and Danny Zdroik added 21 in the loss for the Panthers.
Tim Frederickson had 28 points for DeForest (11-3).
Stevens Point plays a nonconference game at Rhinelander on Friday.
