COLBY GIRLS BASKETBALL SLIPS PAST STANLEY-BOYD IN WIAA DIVISION 3 REGIONAL QUARTERFINAL

COLBY – Olivia Vollrath had 21 points and nine rebounds, and Emma Peavey added 20 points to lift the Colby girls basketball team to a 73-69 win over Stanley-Boyd in a WIAA Division 3 regional quarterfinal Tuesday at Colby High School.


Hayden Willner chipped in 17 points, 11 in the second half, for Colby (12-8).


Colby moves on to a D-4 regional semifinal at No. 1 seed Neillsville (18-1) on Friday.


Lily Hoel led Stanley-Boyd (6-11) with 19 points.
