BONDUEL GIRLS BASKETBALL SLAMS IOLA-SCANDINAVIA TO CLINCH TIE FOR CWC EAST TITLE

IOLA – Bonduel clinched a tie for the Central Wisconsin Conference East Division girls basketball title with a 62-35 win over Iola-Scandinavia on Thursday at Iola-Scandinavia High School.
The Bears finish the CWC East season with an 11-1 record, tying Amherst for the conference championship, and improve to 20-4 overall.
Madeline Much had 12 points for Iola-Scandinavia, which finishes its regular-season schedule at 14-9 overall and 5-7 in the CWC East.
Iola-Scandinavia will be off for a week before hosting a WIAA Division 4 regional semifinal next Friday, Feb. 25, against the winner of Tuesday’s quarterfinal between Stratford and Necedah.
