PRENTICE – The Athens girls basketball team exploded for a 48-point first half and rolled past Prentice 73-33 in a Marawood Conference North Division game Thursday at Prentice High School.
Addison Lavicka had 19 points and nine rebounds, Jazelle Hartwig added 18 points, and Sydney Coker had 11 points for the Bluejays, who are now 12-2 overall and 6-2 in conference play.
Athens hosts Abbotsford for a Marawood North game on Tuesday.
